VIRTUAL BOOKKEEPER FOR COACHES & CREATIVES
“Wait, what? I never signed up to become a CFO…”
That's what my would-be first client was thinking when she asked for my help before I ever had a business.
But before we dive into that, let me back up a bit and introduce myself...
Virtual Bookkeeper Extraordinaire + Spicy Wing Connoisseur
(You can call me Meg!)
Being an Enneagram 1 (aka, a total rule-follower + perfectionist alllll the way), I chose to major in accounting in college because I thought it was the “safest” career choice. Everyone needs an accountant, right?
Turns out a global pandemic doesn’t care much about following the rules of how I planned my life to go.
In May 2020, I was laid off from my job due to the pandemic—a job I had just moved to a brand-new city for 9 months prior. Devastated was an understatement. It felt like my world was crumbling, like I had no control… pretty much my worst nightmare.
Even though my layoff had NOTHING to do with my work performance, I felt like I had something to prove. So, I jam-packed my schedule with interviews, and a few weeks later, I ended up accepting another accounting job.
But the heaviness in my heart never went away. I found myself more bitter and discontented than I was when I lost my job in the first place.
To build something bigger than yourself, you have to start thinking bigger than yourself.
It wasn’t until our sweet wedding photographer asked me to help her with her business finances that got my wheels turning about how I can do what I love on my own terms.
I knew I didn’t want to touch taxes (they’re TOTALLY not my cup of Joe), but it got my wheels turning. I wondered...
“How can I help with her biz finances, without doing taxes?”
It took me MONTHS to figure out the answer—and even when I did, I was stubborn with the man upstairs. I knew God was leading me to the world of bookkeeping, the heaviness on my heart was uncomfortable.
Finally, a few months later, I was ready to answer His call. Our photographer Maddi became my first-ever bookkeeping client, and I quickly realized this was the absolute best move I could have ever made for myself.
Never did I ever think I’d become an "outdoorsy" type of gal...
Until I met my adventure-seeking husband. Before we got together, I would barely go camping. Now, thanks to him, I’ve officially been converted to an outdoors junkie.
Like, backpack-for-dozens-of-miles-and-sleep-in-the-wilderness-for-fun kind of outdoors junkie. Ha!
Our ultimate goal is to see every national park and to travel around the US in an RV together with our future kids. How cool would that be?!
Even if your dream life doesn’t involve roaming the great outdoors for fun, I believe that your business should support the dreams you want to come true for you and your family.
With me as your bookkeeper, I’m able to help you do MORE with your money (like the things you really want to do), so those dreams can actually become your reality!
Because I have Megan as my bookkeeper, I have been able to find liberation and peace of mind in my business success and finances.
"Working with Megan since the beginning of the year has helped me grow in many ways. But one way that I least expected was allowing my work life balance to improve. I’ve been able to make decisions for both my business and my personal life with confidence and excitement out of a place of true abundance for the first time, rather than uncertainly and scarcity."

I live in Rocklin, CA with my husband and perfect pup, Spud.
I’m the queen of fried chicken and spicy wings. My guilty pleasure is crushing a basket of Buffalo Wild Wings’ boneless wings with extra Asian Zing sauce.
On the weekends you can catch us paddle boarding, hiking, backpacking, or Netflixing.
Grey’s Anatomy is my all-time fave show. Catch me striking an Amelia Shepherd power pose any chance I can get!
I graduated from Chico State in 2017 (go Wildcats!) & got my CPA license shortly after.
An item on my bucket list is to run a full marathon (which is kind of crazy, since I STRONGLY dislike running!)
Teaming up would basically be the greatest thing since fried chicken, don’t you think?
Let’s get you feeling empowered as CEO and CFO of your biz, with me by your side as your money-management partner. What do you say?!
